- Planning and designing security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Developing security integration to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions.
- Designing action plans for system hardening, security monitoring, incident response, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Partnering with stakeholders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible software designs and best practices for DevSecOps.
- Working with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in products.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP integrating technologies and tools.
- Experience with security configurations in Public Cloud contexts.
- Experienced managing infrastructure as code, both on-prem and cloud based.
- Experienced with public cloud services: EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront.
- Experienced with container and orchestration technologies docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experienced with software development languages GoLang, Python or Java.
- Scripting/ automation experience, preferably with Python.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Experience with DevSecOps designs and secure pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Experienced Linux development background.
- Experienced with microservices architectures and REST APIs.
- Background in Agile development.
- M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Working knowledge of cloud native development
- 6+ years experience as a software developer
- System thinking skills
- Working experience with CI/CD, open source cloud development tools
